The Institute of Turkish Revolution History (TITE) is an academic unit established on April 15, 1942 by Law No. 4204. Our Institute, as stated in the general framework establishment law, conducts research based on interdisciplinary approach and scientific methods on the Turkish War of Independence and the Turkish Revolution under the leadership of Atatürk and the principles on which the Republic of Turkey regime is based; To provide opportunities for readers and researchers at all levels to use its museum, archive and library; To give lectures and conferences and to make publications to promote the history and regime of the Republic of Turkey within and outside the country; To conduct Ataturk’s Principles and History of Revolution courses in faculties and colleges, while teaching students ethical values that form an important part of the value system and ensuring that they are transformed into a way of life, to create and develop students’ sense of belonging to their university and country, and to create a solid citizenship awareness; It has undertaken the mission of giving postgraduate courses in the field of Republic history and training academics specialized in this field.
